Create one

- 4Open it to see its connection details, data and backups.
Connect from outside Rimbra
Databases are private by default: only projects deployed on Rimbra can reach them. To use a Postgres database from your laptop, a database tool or an app hosted elsewhere, open it and turn on Outside connections. It restarts for a few seconds and gets its own address at db.rimbra.app.
Outside connections are encrypted only (TLS 1.2 or newer). Unencrypted connections are refused. The certificate is a public Let’s Encrypt one for db.rimbra.app, so clients can verify it.
bash
psql "postgres://rimbra:PASSWORD@db.rimbra.app:5400/mydb?sslmode=require"
# full certificate checks (libpq 16 or newer)
psql "postgres://rimbra:PASSWORD@db.rimbra.app:5400/mydb?sslmode=verify-full&sslrootcert=system"Inside a database
